I have a group of friends and once a month we have a “Lady’s Nite” where just us wacky women escape the typical stress of our every day lives. We go out on the town or have slumber parties. Once a year we rent a house in New Braunfels,TX right off the river.
I just happen to run across this site and I love it. I will be visiting often and I will tell all my girls about it. Thanks!

I have a “Girl’s Day In” every year with different themes.
This year I had a meditative theme–candles, soft Billy Holiday music,red wine,sushi,and my niece came over to give everybody a foot massage!

To break the ice–I always give each girl a slip of paper asking for instance…”What would you do if you were president of the United States?” or “Who was the first boy you kissed?”
This always breaks the ice and everybody begins laughing and becoming very open with one another!

Once a year a group of us girls get together for what we call “Queen’s Night”. We have a sleepover and no kids, husbands or diets are allowed. We wear tiara’s and play games and eat and drink and just have a great time. At midnight we have a “meeting” and decide who is hosting the following year. The following day we have a cookout with our families. It’s a great way to have much needed “girl time”.
